About DINA

Dina Folgia was born and raised in southern New Jersey, and is currently an MFA candidate at Virginia Commonwealth University.  She graduated magna cum laude with her B.A. in Writing Arts from Rowan University.  Her work, which has been nominated for Best of the Net, Pushcart, and the AWP Intro Journals Project, has appeared in Dunes Review, Foglifter, Grub Street Literary Magazine, Ninth Letter, the minnesota review, and others.  She currently serves as the lead poetry editor of Blackbird.
